Why Not Me?

Why Not Me?

"This thing called life was created by people that are no smarter than you."
One of the most inspiring quotes one can come across is by the late Steve Jobs. Our self limiting beliefs are the main obstacle we all have. Those negative voices in our head are constantly holding us back from even thinking we can do more than what we are doing. The thing is, that's not really OUR voice.

That voice had been put into our head. We've heard it so many times over and over again that we have claimed ownership of it. And once we claim ownership of something, we tend to go down with that ship. It's been talking nonsense to our minds for so long we believe it to be our own. This is simply conditioning. The same say way Steve Jobs had his vision, we have ours. The narratives are just saying different things.

It's time to identify your own self limiting beliefs, however many there are, and it's time to call bullshit on them. Science has proven that reality is largely subjective. What we believe to be tends to come into fruition. Those voices in our head can be silenced and replaced with voices that tell us whatever we want to hear. Say to yourself "I can't fail", "I am worthy", "I am good enough", "I can earn 100 million dollars", "I can change the world", "I can achieve my dreams", "Why not me?".

How did it feel to say these things to yourself? If it felt weird, ask yourself why. If it felt weird, it's because you were simply not conditioned to think this way or believe these things about yourself, that's it. Our beliefs are completely malleable. They don't have to stay fixed throughout our lives. We can change our mindsets. We must in order to change our lives.

There are many ways to practice changing the way we think. The first step is to understand and believe it is possible. The second step is to want to. When you no longer feel weird saying these things to yourself, that's when they will start to happen. That will be when your mindset has changed and your new beliefs will create your new reality.
